Coronavirus - July 24 - Weekly update
Recovery flattens, but as predicted
This is our 22nd weekly update and the penultimate before our ‘staycation’ in ‘Costa Del Bishop’s Stortford’ (rather than the Mediterranean).Time certainly does fly and if this is a two year recovery, we are now almost a quarter of the way through.

As predicted, UK dividend payments have fallen in the second quarter as companies conserve cash and the earnings season gets into full swing. The market recovery in April and May has rolled into a more sideways movement as investors review the unfolding economic data and wait for further news on a vaccine for Covid-19.
